That subject gave the work a socio-political dimension.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eIn this new phase of my practice, the human figure remains the central motif, but it is no longer a reference to patriarchal authority. Instead, the figure becomes a purely visual element, enabling a distinctly colorful aesthetic exploration. I chose to shift my palette and experiment with garish colors that create a grotesque atmosphere; scenes that are satirical and absurd at once.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eMy new graphic language draws on the imagery of Islamic miniatures, which notably have the characteristic of reversing the direction of reading (the image can be rotated, with each side becoming the bottom of the picture), while disregarding perspective. The space depicted in the painting is an absurd space. A kind of non-space that prevents the eye from reconstructing a sense of place. Very few elements provide spatial reference points, except for certain details (such as the tree in the work titled “In the Distant Forest,” or the car, which refers to the
